Virginia Ann Roblez

August 28, 1933 — March 27, 2022

Virginia “Ginny” Roblez, age 88, of Grants Pass, died March 27, 2022 at Applegate House.

Ginny was born August 28, 1933 in Austin, Texas to Ray & Emily. After the family moved to San Diego County, Ginny graduated from Kearny High School where she met her high school sweetheart Richard. They were married and together had three children Sue, Sandy and Timothy. The family lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Huntsville, Alabama before returning to California and eventually settling in Fresno. While raising her children and keeping the house spotless, Ginny worked for Hewlett Packard and Mass Mutual. After a divorce in the early 1980s, Ginny fell in love and married Richard Roblez. Unfortunately, Richard died after only a few years and Ginny felt the heartache the rest of her life. Ginny moved from Oceanside, California to Grants Pass in April 2020 to be closer to her daughters.

Ginny especially enjoyed yoga.

She is survived by her three children Susan (Jeff) of Rogue River, Oregon, Sandy (Stan) Goodell of Grants Pass, Oregon, and Timothy (Lori) of Visalia, California; sister Jean of Huntington Beach, California; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Many thanks to Applegate House of Grants Pass and Signature Hospice for their loving care and attention.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., April 6, 2022 at Clovis Cemetery in Clovis, California.
