Trish Haas

Former Grants Pass resident, Trish Haas, age 82, of Ashland died May 4, 2026 at Angels Haven.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.

Trish was born September 6, 1943 in Miami, Florida to Charles and Kathleen Haas. She grew up in a military family and attended ten schools before high school graduation. In 1965, Trish graduated from San Francisco State College with a bachelor’s in philosophy; in 1982 she earned her master’s in Social Work from Portland State University. Her career included work in mental health and hospice, with emphasis in empowering people to do more for themselves and create community and mutual aid.

Trish partnered with Hayward Webster since 1978 and they married August 9, 2024 in Grants Pass, Oregon. The couple moved to Grants Pass in 1999 from Portland, Oregon.

Hobbies and interests included camping, reading, gardening, woodworking, folk music, and was a member of the Women with Wings Choir in Ashland.

Trish volunteered with the Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Lovejoy Hospice, and the Josephine Community Library.

Trish is survived by her wife, Hayward Webster of Ashland. Their son, Jasper Webster, passed away in 2004.
