Tracy Junanne Riddell, age 57, of Grants Pass, passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2026.
She was born on February 21, 1969, in Redlands, CA, to Forest Merle Riddell and Frances Marie Riddell. Tracy graduated from Redlands High School in 1987 and later earned her Master's Degree in Special Education from California State University, San Bernardino in 2005.
Tracy proudly served as a Special Education teacher, primarily teaching kindergarten through third grade, for the Moreno Valley Unified School District for more than 15 years. She was passionate about helping children succeed and dedicated her career to supporting students with special needs and their families.
On December 27, 2002, in Redlands, California, Tracy married the love of her life, Troy Gayler. Together they built a life centered on family, friendship, and service to others. Following her retirement from teaching due to health concerns, Tracy and Troy moved to Grants Pass, Oregon.
Tracy was the proud mother of Aaron Michael Glider and Haley Marie Gayler, and the devoted grandmother of Lucas Troy Glider and Hunter Jesus Glider.
She was known for being stern when needed, but everyone who knew her understood that she had a heart of gold. She spent countless hours helping parents navigate the IEP process and advocating for what was best for each child. No matter how busy she was, Tracy always made time for anyone who needed her.
She cherished time spent with close friends, sharing memories and reminiscing about the many good times they enjoyed together. Tracy also loved making Christmas wreaths, bowling, and spending time at the gun range. Above all else, she treasured every moment she spent with her grandsons.
One of Tracy's favorite sayings to her children and grandchildren was, "I love you to the moon and back." Though she is no longer here with us, we can imagine her now saying, "I love you to heaven and back."
Tracy leaves behind her loving husband, Troy Gayler; her children, Aaron Michael Glider, Mayra Glider(daughter-in-law), and Haley Marie Gayler; her grandchildren, Lucas Troy Glider and Hunter Jesus Glider; and many other family members, friends, former students, and parents whose lives she touched throughout her years of service.
Her kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
“I love you to heaven and back.” <3
