Thomas Edward Bortis, Junior, age 37, of Williams, died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at his home.

Private services have been held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Tom was born to Thomas & Carol Bortis, December 20, 1969 in Medford. He enlisted in the United States Navy after graduating from Crater High School. He was a Petty Officer Second Class. He was a cook while serving on submarines. While serving our country he married and had two children, Stephanie Dawn & Thomas Edward, III. He moved to Oregon from Washington after the dissolution of marriage. He has lived in Williams for 8 years.

His hobbies included cooking, watching movies & football.

Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Dawn Bortis and son, Thomas Edward Bortis III both of California; two brothers, Don Yule of Gold Hill; and Joe Yule, or Williams; four sisters, Donna Edzards, of Roeland Park, Kansas; Debbie Inlow of Fallon, Nevada; Dianna Johnson of Williams and Joni Carpenter of Grants Pass; he was also very proud of his niece and his many nephews.
