Steven "Bubba" M. Hartless

Steven M. “Bubba” Hartless, age 63, of Grants Pass, died August 10, 2022 at his home.

He was born Steven Michael Hartless on December 23, 1958 in San Mateo, California to James Charles Hartless and Angelina (Pellizzer) Hartless. He attended Sequoia High School while living in Redwood City, CA. Steven was a long-haul truck driver and drove all over the lower 48 states.

Steven enjoyed helping his many long-time friends, including with business start-ups and auto repairs, and really enjoyed sharing his wealth of knowledge. He also enjoyed fishing and watching westerns. He really loved his children, and for the last three years he found the love of his life, Janine, and they were making plans to marry.

Survivors include his fiancée Janine Baird of Grants Pass, daughter Cara Vierra of Coos Bay, son Joshua Hartless of Cicero, Indiana, sister Christine Eltagonde of San Jose, CA, brother David Hartless of Grants Pass; grandchildren Kayla and Kimberly Vierra of Coos Bay, Easton Anderson of Indiana, and Aydan Peterson of Washington.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Darline and Jeannette Hartless.
