Sid Marlow

Sid Marlow, age 74, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Sid was born July 9, 1937 in Berkeley, California to Alfred & Ardella Marlow. He lived in Oakland, California where he worked in various places including at the Oakland Tribune; at a sheet metal shop; managed a Mobile Oil service station; and for five years owned and operated a race car business, Circle Track Racing Equipment. In June 1979 he moved from Oakland to Grants Pass, Oregon.

His hobbies included racing cars, restoring old cars; and watching NASCAR racing.

Sid is survived by his companion, Peggy Blue of Grants Pass, Oregon; a son, Brian Flieger of Springfield, Oregon; a sister, Suzanne Colombo of Santa Rosa, California; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
