Roberta Rozella Shaw

Roberta Shaw, age 90, passed away July 12, 2026 at Morrow Heights.

Born in Colorado, Roberta grew up in Washington and spent her young adult years in Hawaii. She later moved to Northern California, where she met the love of her life, John Shaw. They shared nearly 50 years of marriage and raised their sons, David and James. After their sons had grown, Roberta and John moved to Rogue River, Oregon, where she lived for the remainder of her life.

Roberta was blessed with an amazing sense of humor and an incredibly kind heart. She loved all animals and was especially fond of the many dogs who were part of her life over the years. Her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses was deeply important to her, and she devoted much of her life to sharing her faith and its message with others.

Roberta was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Shaw, and her son, David Shaw.

She is survived by her son, James Shaw (Kathy); her daughter-in-law, Heather Shaw; and her granddaughters, Ashley, Alayna, and Brianna.

The family extends a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Morrow Heights, as well as her brothers and sisters in the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation, for their kindness, care, and for bringing comfort and joy to Roberta during her final years.

A celebration of life will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Grants Pass on September 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

101 Lloyd Dr, Grants Pass, OR 97526.

Private interment will take place at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
