Robert Willie Heinrichs

1932-2025

Robert (Bob) Willie Heinrichs was born June 3, 1932 in Enid, OK, where he grew up and attended school. He joined the navy from 1951-1954 and served on a troop transport ship. He married 1954 and had two children, Susan and Michael. On March 04, 1967, Bob married Evelyn Ediger and spent the rest of his life with her. Bob passed away on 15 May, 2025.

Bob opened his first auto body shop, Heinrichs Custom Paint and Body, in 1968. He loved building hot rods himself and was a big part of the bay area hot rod community. Bob also loved the water, racing boats, water skiing, and cruising in the San Francisco Bay. Bob was also a long term member of the Mennonite Brethern Church.

Bob cared deeply about his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; his daughter, Susan; his 2 grand children; and his 7 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., May 23, 2025 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., May 23, 2025 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

Interment with military honors will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
