Robert Arthur Giles

Robert (Bob) Giles passed away on Sunday, February 4, just one week after celebrating his 94th birthday. After serving 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, he enjoyed a successful career in the Aerospace Industry in Southern California. Upon retirement he enjoyed traveling, visiting with family and was passionate about the game of golf. He was a long-time member of the Dutcher Creek Golf Course achieving a career high of seven hole-in-ones. Three years ago, he moved to Countryside Village where he made many friends, enjoyed playing cards and attending group activities. Bob is preceded in death by his wife Dee, daughter Judy, and granddaughter Jamie. He is survived by two sons, Jeff and Jerry, stepdaughter Dawn,12 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Bob professed his faith in Jesus who said, "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life" (John 5:24). The family will hold private individual memorials.
