Richard "Shorty" Aguilar

Richard Lee “Richie” “Shorty” Aguilar, age 43, of Grants Pass, died August 22, 2021 in Glendale.

He was born July 16, 1978 in Grants Pass, Oregon where he grew up. He was a handyman, landscaper, and jack-of-all trades. He loved his family and was always willing to help. He was a great listener, a great father, and a great all-around person.

He loved cooking, barbequing, camping, fishing and woodworking. He was a jokester and had an infectious smile.

Survivors include his former spouse, Shannon Bilodaeu; daughter Selena Aguilar; father Richard H. Aguilar; sisters Mary Briney, Jeanette Aguilar, Kimberly Kovairk, Sylvia Aguilar, Sandy Aguilar, and Winky Aguilar; brothers Robert Head, James Head, Terry Head, and Chris Head; nephews Timothy Head, Justin Head, Troy Head, Travis Head, Austin Turner, Journey Badley, Jeremy Badley and Alex Reed; nieces Jessica Phillips, Heather Reed, Barbara Young and Ruth Head; and great-niece Estella.

He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Aguilar.

A celebration of life will be at 10:00 a.m., September 10, 2021 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
