Richard "Rick" Lee Embry, Jr.

Richard Lee “Rick” Embry, Jr., age 49, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at his home.

Services will be in Washington State. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Rick was born May 31, 1957 in Aberdeen, Washington to Richard and Judith Embry. He attended Montesano High School, Class of 1976. In 2006 he moved from Montesano, Washington to Grants Pass. He worked as a mechanic, drove log truck and currently worked at Rogue View Dairy.

He was a member of the American Legion in Montesano, Washington.

Rick’s hobbies included working on cars, building a 1956 500 Mercedes K and painted it teal and royal blue, and deep sea fishing.

Survivors include son, Richard Lee Embry III; mother & step-father, Judith S. and Buddie Dishman of Hubbard, Oregon; sister, Laurie Jo Wilson of Portland; half-brother, Tad Skaggs of Portland; half-sister, Emma Viola Wheatley of Helena Montana; half-brother, Kenneth Dwayne Skaggs, Jr, of Hubbard, Oregon; half sister, Kendell Diane Skaggs of Lincoln City; half-brother, Keith Douglas Skaggs of Canyon Fairy, Montana; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and Nephews.

Preceding him in death was his father, Richard Lee Embry.
