Dr. Randolf Nephi Webster (68) of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away suddenly and way too soon, Sunday July 13, 2025. Owner of Animal Hospital of Grants Pass since 2012. Earlier in his career he specialized in llamas, alpacas, had his own mobile veterinary practice and co-owned a practice in Washington before settling in Southern Oregon.
Randy is survived by his wife Amy of 25 years, son Jacob of Eugene, OR, daughter Emily of Baker, MT, and brother Bret Webster of Park City, UT. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Marlene Krainson Pratt and father, Douglas Nephi Webster.
Randy was raised on the Webster family cattle ranch in Kaysville, Utah, and at 10 years old knew he wanted to be a veterinarian. Known in school as “Wildman”, football star and farm boy. After graduating from Davis High class of 1974, determined to make his dream come true, he headed to Fairbanks, Alaska to work on the pipeline. After 4 years of hard work Randy went on to attend the University of Washington and Washington State University. He graduated with his degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, cum laude, class of 1988.
In 2000 Randy and Amy married in La Conner, WA, began their family in Duvall, WA and moved to Grants Pass, OR in 2012. He often said raising the kids in Grants Pass was a dream come true. Randy loves Jesus, his family, loved serving his clients, their beloved pets and this wonderful community.
