Paul Allen Ream

Paul Allen Ream, age 82, of Rogue River, died June 16, 2026 at his home.

“The Man, the Myth, the Legend!”

Paul Allen Ream was born on September 25th, 1943 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to Robert William and Fern Mae Ream. Paul was married to the most wonderful woman in the world; Cheryl Ream and they were married for 49 beautiful years. Cheryl preceded Paul in death in 2009. Paul and Cheryl had three loving daughters; Christle, married to Leslie Brooks, Barbara, married to Enrique Gomez, and Lonna, married to Martin Hernandez.

Their daughters and son-in-laws loved Paul and Cheryl dearly.

Sadly, Lonna preceded her father in death in 2022. Paul is survived by daughters Christle and Barbie; sisters Barbara Shepherd and Dawn Culver; grandchildren Daniel and Andrew Barella, Reina and Brittney Gomez, and Martín Jr. and Steven Hernandez; great-grandchildren Isaiah, Lily and Micah Barella as well as Ethan, Adelina, and Amaya Barella; and many nieces and nephews. Paul was also blessed with our newest bundle of joy, Alora Lynn Hernandez.

Paul’s family will always remember him for his grit, his lion’s heart and his integrity. The community of Southern Oregon will remember him for his home maintenance and repair business, his time as a volunteer firefighter at Evans Valley Fire District #6 for many years and his unchallenged Mayorship of Wimer, Oregon. Paul was also very devoted to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his church, Rogue River Assembly of God. Everyone will remember him for his love of Cowboy hats and boots, his kind smile and friendly disposition.

In Paul’s final chapter of life; he was most grateful for the love and companionship of the sweet and lovely Doris Hinkle, who brought him much joy and comfort. Paul will be greatly missed and he will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m., July 25, 2026 at Rogue River Assembly of God.
