Mervyn Quigley

Mervyn Quigley, age 54, of Grants Pass, died Monday, June 8, 2009 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Mervyn was born March 26, 1955 in Lisburn County Antrim, Northern Ireland. He arrived in the United States at Oakland, California with his parents, Adam & Elsie Quigley. In the summer of 1973 Mervyn moved to Grants Pass.

He was a master woodworker, building cabinets to specialty furniture. At the time of his death he was employed by Northwest Design of Grants Pass.

Mervyn enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and traveling to the Oregon coast to go charter fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father Adam Quigley; mother Elsie Quigley; and sister Cynthia Ketner.

Survivors include a sister, Winifred Quigley; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews in Oregon, California, and Northern Ireland.
