Maxine Virginia Bartlett

Maxine Virginia Bartlett, born November 20, 1938 died February 6, 2024 at the age of 85. 

She was born in a small house on the south side of Des Moines, Iowa to parents Russell Miller and Maxine Lancaster. She had two brothers and a sister. 

Maxine married Richard Bartlett in 1970 and together they had seven children Roxanne, Russel, Rhonda, Bret, Terry, Teresa, and Troy, who are all living except two. She was a grandmother and great-grandmother. The family moved from Iowa to Arkansas and then to Oregon. They fell in love with Oregon and said it would be their forever home. Maxine’s husband, Richard Bartlett, died on Father’s Day in 1999.

She was a member of her church until she was no longer able to attend due to health reasons. 

She was full of life and a great mother. Maxine had many friends over the years. When she passed, she was ready to see The Lord and all the loved ones that had passed before her. 

Hobbies included painting, bowling, fishing, and bible study. 

A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Grace Church 100 Oak St, Central Point, OR 97502.
