Mary Jane Kuntz Collins, age 87, passed away on October 16, 2026, in Clearfield, Utah, where she and her husband, Marlin, had moved to be near their daughter and son-in-law. She was born on September 11, 1939, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Otto Elmer Kuntz and Jennette McNabney Kuntz.

Mary Jane worked at Delco Radio in Kokomo before moving with her family to Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1969. For 48 years, she served as the bookkeeper for Marlin's business, American Carpet, Upholstery & Window Cleaning. Dependable and hardworking, she took great pride in caring for her family and faithfully fulfilling her responsibilities.

Mary Jane had a deep love for genealogy and family history. She devoted countless hours to learning about her ancestors and often attended the temple to perform sacred ordinances on their behalf. Mary Jane and Marlin were also blessed to serve side by side in the temple, a treasured expression of the faith and eternal hope they shared. She believed with all her heart in eternal families and in the promise that loved ones will be reunited through Jesus Christ.
Mary Jane was an avid reader who enjoyed hundreds of books throughout her life. She valued learning and service to others.
Above all, Mary Jane loved her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she cherished the close and loving relationships she shared with her nieces and nephews.

Mary Jane will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her loving devotion to family, her strong work ethic, and her willingness to serve. Her example of faith and service will continue to bless those who knew and loved her. She will be missed deeply, but her family finds peace in the Savior's promise of the Resurrection and in the knowledge that, through Jesus Christ, families can be together forever.
