Martha was born #2 out of 12 children in Evans Valley to Leslie and Mabel Rigel. She married Gerald Yawn on August 4, 1951 and together they raised 4 children, Chris, Orville, Lola and Elvin.

Martha married Carl Crowell on December 3rd, 2013 where she spent the remainder of her life.

She had 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grand children.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald, her son Orville, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

She was and remained until her death a founding member of the Woodville Museum where she donated her time, personal items and a wealth of knowledge of the surrounding area and the people in the community. Martha was proud of her work with children in scouting programs for both girls and boys and she also worked with the child Evangelism Fellowship at Evans Valley Bible Church. She jointly ran a family business for over 30 years with her husband and son.

With her family she loved traveling, hunting, camping, fishing, gardening, hiking, Black Powder competition shooting with her husband Carl.

What she loved most was spending time visiting with her loved ones and friends.

Beauty flowed from her heart as she loved and fully lived her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
