Mark Steven Myers born December 29, 1952, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on February 5, 2026 at the age of 73.
Mark Myers was a man whose strength, love, and unwavering presence left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to have known him. Though his childhood was not an easy one, Mark never allowed the hardships of his early years to define him. Instead, they shaped him into the strongest, most compassionate, and deeply loving man so many came to admire. He carried his past with quiet resilience and chose to build a life rooted in love, loyalty, and devotion to family.
At the center of Mark’s world was his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father to his two sons and two daughters, and the steady foundation they could always rely on. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren adored him, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was sharing stories, offering guidance, or simply being present, Mark made each member of his family feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. His home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of knowing he was always there.
Mark had a passion for writing and took great pride in working on his book, pouring his thoughts, experiences, and heart into every page. He loved football, cheering passionately and sharing that excitement with those around him. Mark enjoyed music, rather it be listening to it at home, in the car, a live concert, or preforming for others. Above all, he treasured being surrounded by his family and friends.
Beyond his immediate circle, Mark built meaningful friendships across the world. Through concerts and chance encounters, he formed connections that lasted a lifetime. He had a rare gift for turning strangers into friends, and friends into family.
Mark Myers will be remembered not only for his strength, but for his kindness. Not only for what he endured, but for the love he gave so freely. His life is a testament to resilience, devotion, and the power of choosing love despite life’s hardships.
He leaves behind a legacy carried on by his wife; Lana, his 4 children; Eddie, David, Casey, and Ruby, his 10 grandchildren; Ethan, Carmen, Eric, Vanessa, Courtney, Alexis, Venus, Zoe, Elizabeth, Forrest and his 5 great-grandchildren; Zoe, Wren, Koulter, Quintin and Kruz. He leaves behind his big brother Bruce and little sister Sherry, along with Nieces and Nephews whom highly adored him, and countless friends whose lives are better because he was in them.
He was deeply loved. He will be deeply missed. And he will never be forgotten!
Please share a memory of Mark in his Guestbook.
