Mark Edward Parmerlee

Mark Edward Parmerlee, age 58, of Cave Junction, died January 13, 2019 at his home.

Mark was born May 16, 1960 in Grants Pass to Roy & Evelyn Parmerlee. He graduated from Illinois Valley High School class of 1978. He worked as a mechanic at Curry Equipment in Brookings for many years. Most recently he was a full-time caregiver for his mother. All his life he lived off and on in Cave Junction.

Mark was an avid listener of police scanners 24-7. He enjoyed small engine repair and maintenance.

Survivors include twin children Aubree McKeane of White City, Oregon and Mark Parmerlee II of New Braunfels, Texas; a sister, Donna Harney of Vancouver, Washington; a brother, Steve Parmerlee of San Diego, California; two grandchildren, Brooke Duncan and Tenley McKeane; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Mitchell; his father; and his mother who died November 19, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident.
