Lynn M. Huske

Lynn M Huske passed away Thursday July 22, 2021 at the age of 75.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and teammate.

Lynn was born July 7, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to Mike and Amy Heinen, one of 5 children.

She married Harvey Huske on February 27, 1965. They raised 4 children, Kim, Karen, Kelly and Kory.

They moved to Colorado and returned to Illinois until they retired to Oregon.

They enjoyed outdoor adventures, visiting the coast, hiking, camping, fishing, site seeing. She loved playing cards just as her dad did.

She felt at home at Jubilation Fellowship where she really felt the power of the Lord.

When the love of her life, Harvey passed, she focused on her sports and family who moved to Oregon over the years.

She was a stay at home mom for most of her years, worked as a Hair Stylist and at K Mart. Her passion was her family and her sports.

She played on several softball teams over the years and participated in the St. George, Utah Senior Olympics where she won several medals in softball, volleyball and horseshoes. In 2019 she earned a silver medal while on the women’s 70 years and older team the “Silver Stars”.

Her passion for her game allowed her to travel with the “Sleeperz” and other teams to many states with friends making great memories.

Her love for softball started many years ago with the Grants Pass “Relics” softball league. She was one of the first 4 women on a team when the league opened to co-ed. She was one of the best female players on the teams.

She is survived in death by her daughters Karen (Brummett) and Kelly (Huske) as well as several grandkids, Nicole, Megan, Cody, Jordon, Andrew, Alan, Collin, Tyler and Great Grandchildren, Troy, Hank, Zara as well as siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service will be held on Saturday September 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at Jubilation Fellowship, 1655 Williams Hwy, Murphy, Oregon. A celebration of life will immediately follow the service.
