Leona Frances Roberts

Leona Frances Roberts, age 83, of Rogue River, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Highland House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A memorial service was held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.

She was born Leona Frances Slover June 10, 1927 in Toyah, Texas to Walter & Gladys Slover. She married Lee Stanley Roberts and he died December 24, 1985. She moved from Cave Junction to Rogue River four years ago.

Leona was foremost a homemaker raising four children. She loved flower gardening and raising award winning roses.

She is survived by her children, Delores Zetak of Wellington, Nevada; Billy Glen Lamar of Southaven, Mississippi; Allen Ray Lamar of Grants Pass, Oregon; and Linda Kay Payne of Stanton, California; sister, Romona Tirey of Belen, New Mexico; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
