Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Cavener

Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Cavener, age 79, passed peacefully in his sleep in Grants Pass, Oregon, on June 10, 2026.

Kenny was born on September 15, 1946, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, to Victor and Annabelle Cavener. Throughout his life, Kenny pursued many entrepreneurial ventures, including residential care homes, computer businesses, and a toner supply company. He was known for his strong work ethic, determination, and willingness to pursue new opportunities throughout his life.

Outside of work, Kenny enjoyed many hobbies, including building computers, but his greatest passion was playing pool. In Grants Pass and beyond, he was known by many friends and fellow players who spent countless hours around the billiard table with him. He was a fierce competitor, a skilled player, and rarely missed an opportunity to challenge someone to a game. More often than not, Kenny was the one walking away victorious.

Kenny will be remembered for his independent spirit, sharp mind, sense of humor, and the many friendships he built over the years. Whether through business, family, or a game of pool, he left a lasting impression on the lives of those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Annabelle Cavener, and his beloved daughter, Toki.

Kenny is survived by his daughters, Lynn, Shannon, D’On, and Torri; his 10 grandchildren; his brothers, Ricky and Renny; his sister, Roxy; extended family members; and many dear friends.

The family takes comfort in knowing that Kenny passed peacefully and leaves behind a lifetime of memories, stories, laughter, and friendships that will continue to be shared by those who loved him.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have shared a laugh, a story, or a game of pool with him.
