Karen Russell

November 10, 1955 — February 22, 2026

Karen Russell of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed on February 22, 2026. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, quiet strength, and the steady love she gave throughout her life.

Karen was the mother of three children, Cristopher Gwilliam, Laci Boudreaux, and Nathan Russell. She loved her children unconditionally and found her greatest purpose in being their mom. She supported them in both joyful and difficult times and was always there with a listening ear and a caring heart.

She was a grateful and loving Nana to her seven grandchildren. They brought her so much happiness, and she cherished each one deeply. Time spent with them, no matter how simple, meant the world to her.

Karen lived for many years with Parkinson’s disease. She faced it with quiet courage and did her best each day, leaning on her faith and the support of those around her.

She loved the beauty of Oregon, especially the rivers and the peaceful nature around Grants Pass. Being outdoors brought her comfort and reminded her of God’s presence.

Karen was a Christian woman who loved Jesus and found peace and guidance in reading the Bible. Her faith was steady and sincere, shaping the kindness she showed to others.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted Nana, and faithful woman whose life was centered on family and simple acts of love. She will be deeply missed.
