Karen L. Harry

July 21, 1944 — April 28, 2026

Grants Pass

Karen Louise Harry, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 21, 1944, in Grants Pass, Oregon, where she was also raised.

Karen shared a beautiful and enduring marriage with her husband, Jim Harry. Together, they celebrated 61 years of marriage, building a life grounded in love, faith, and unwavering commitment. Their relationship was a lasting example of devotion and strength.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Harry; her three children, Julie Collins (Kelly Collins), David Harry (Donna Harry), and Mary Pimentel (Carlos Pimentel); as well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great joy and pride in her life.

Karen loved the Lord her entire life and lived out her faith daily with a true servant’s heart. She loved studying the Bible, teaching Sunday School, reading scripture, and engaging in conversations about theology. Her faith was the foundation of her life and a guiding light to those around her. Even in her final days, as her hope of recovery was dimming, Karen never lost her faith in Jesus.

She was deeply committed to her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. Karen’s greatest calling was her home, where she devoted herself to raising her children to love the Lord and to live lives of faith and purpose.

She was known for being faithful, loyal, and steadfast in everything she did. She had a determined and strong-willed spirit—a stubbornness in the best sense—that helped her persevere through life’s challenges. She never gave up, and that quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Karen will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering faith, and the love she gave so freely. The courage she showed in the end will be an example for all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the lives she touched through her faith, strength, and kindness.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m., May 9, 2026 at LifeLink Church, 2600 New Hope Road, Grants Pass, OR 97527.

Interment will immediately follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
