June "Junebug" Best

She was born June Lois Lane in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 30, 1920. She was the youngest of four children. As a young adult she moved with her family to California. She enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with her family, her dogs and playing slot machines.

June passed away peacefully surrounded by love on April 9, 2015 at her home at Norris manor Adult Care. Two sons passed before her. Survivors include: her daughter, Andree Gilmore; three grandchildren, Scott Dempster, Sara Gilmore, and Randy Gilmore; one great-granddaughter, Genevieve Gilmore; and her family at Norris Manor especially Susan and Richard Norris or as their “JuneBug” would call them “Mama and Papa”.
