Julie Dianne Hill

Julie Dianne Hill, age 65, of Wilderville, Oregon, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Julie was born to Joseph and Dianne Hill. It was soon realized that she was born with Down Syndrome. Without a second thought in their minds, they brought Julie home and gave her the wonderful life she so deserved. Julie grew up in Fair Oaks, CA with a big family that loved her like no other. Her smile, her sass, her loving heart and caring ways were just some of the things that drew others to her.

Julie worked for Eskaton for many years before working at Pride Industries. She worked at Pride for 25+ years before retiring, she loved her job! She also loved Mickey Mouse, Walker Texas Ranger, Country music, coloring, singing and dancing.

Active with Special Olympics, Julie swam, ran track, bowled, played floor hockey, softball and basketball. She won an astounding 150+ medals, though truth be told, she had the Hill family competitive drive and was really only after the gold ones! She traveled to tournaments, enjoyed Disneyland trips and had so many wonderful vacations all over with mom and dad.

Julie is survived by her sisters, Joan (Mike T.), Terri (Mike H.) and Shelley (Pat), along with her nieces Emma and Heather, and nephews Ryan, Alan, Jan, Zach, Mikey and Joey. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe & Dianne, and her brothers Pat and Joe. She will be laid to rest with her parents in Fair Oaks, CA.

A Celebration of Julie’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 19th at Fair Oaks Park McMillan Center, 11549 Fair Oaks Boulevard.

Your selfless dedication and love is noted, admired, and something you should be proud of, and something we are all so thankful for.
