Jovita (Rodriguez) Walker

Our beloved Mother, Grandma and Nana Jovita (Rodriguez) Walker, 92, of Eagle Point, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025 at home surrounded by family.

She was born May 19, 1933 in Fort Morgan, Colorado. On October 5, 1952, in Denver, Colorado, she married the love of her life, Marlan “Mark” Walker who proceeded her in death.

Jo was a nurse, a waitress and later a caregiver. She just loved taking care of everyone. When she retired, she became a deaconess at her church. Even in her memory care home she was still trying to take care of everyone around her. She was sassy and ornery to the end.

Survivors include three daughters, Marilyn Annis (Steve Annis), of Medford, Oregon, Barbara Vetter (Frank Vetter) of Eagle Point, Oregon, Judith Rodriguez (Jess Rodriguez) of Grants Pass, Oregon; son Steven Walker of Keno, Oregon; Four sisters, Rose Bjarke (George) of Exeter, California, Pauline Disinger, of Exeter, California, Mary Williams (Michael) of Snohomish, Washinton and Juanita Williams (John) of Keizer, Oregon; and her brother Victor Rodrigez of Lake Havasu, Arizona.

She is also survived by many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
