Josephine Nauta

Josephine Nauta, 98, of Rogue River, Oregon, passed away on January 27, 2018.

Josephine was born in Wauconda, Illinois, on June 26, 1919. She was married to Vince Stonis on June 26, 1937 and enjoyed a second chance at love when she married Howard Nauta on May 3, 1975.

She had a long and distinguished career at Abbott Laboratories as an environmental lab manager. Hard work and determination was something she lived by and instilled in her family. She is survived by her son Vince, five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Josephine was truly the matriarch of our family. She treasured family above everything else. She will always be in our hearts and forever missed.
