John W. Bauer

John Bauer was born in New York City May 19, 1922. He died February 5, 2011 at Spring Pointe in Grants Pass, Oregon. His mother and father each ran small piano companies. They lived in the Addisleigh neighborhood. The girl-next-door, Jean, became his wife – he never dated another woman.

A resident of Grants Pass for only two years, John lived most of his life in San Mateo, California. He was a banker for Wells Fargo Bank.

John is survived by his son, Bruce; 2 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death

He will be buried in San Mateo. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1238 Lincoln Street, Eugene, OR 97401.
