Jenny Rae Anderson

d. October 15, 2023

Grants Pass

Jenny Rae Anderson's mission and adventure here on earth came to an end on Sunday morning, October 15, 2023. She passed away peacefully in her sleep after a lifelong battle with chronic illnesses. Having lived most of her life with a body that caused her pain and suffering, she refused to let anything hold her back from living a full life. She loved life and she gave everything she had to live, truly live, every moment to its fullest.

She strived to find joy even in the most miserable of circumstances and throughout the many tragedies that she experienced. She radiated joy and it was felt by whomever was lucky enough to meet or associate with her. Her kindness, warmth, fearlessness, sense of adventure, quirky humor and sharp wit made her simply unforgettable.

She completely and unconditionally loved and adored her family. And her family loved, admired, cherished and adored her. Her husband David, son Jake, daughter Kirstie, daughter-in-law Melissa, and grandchildren Milo and Luna, consider it an absolute honor and privilege to have had her as a companion, wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend.

She leaves behind a legacy of love to honor and an example of resilience to emulate. She was a true inspiration to her family. She brought a light into the darkest of days that will not be extinguished by her absence. She was the very heart of her family and home.

Life's precious small moments were so appreciated by her. She had the remarkable ability to find good in everything and everyone around her. She especially loved all of God's creations and found beauty and joy in nature and creatures of all kinds.

Her infectious smile, even under extreme duress and pain, was almost always present. And through all her suffering she counted her many blessings and recognized the many tender mercies and miracles provided by her Heavenly Father. She was ever mindful and empathetic to the countless others who were suffering more than her.

As her family we feel her presence daily. We feel her joy. She is free from her suffering, and this brings peace to our hearts. The void we feel in our lives will be filled with wonderful memories of everything we loved about her. Her light and love will be with us always.

We love her more than words could ever express, and we will be counting our blessings and counting down the days until we are reunited with our beloved and beautiful Jenny.
