Jennifer "Jenni" Monday

Jennifer was born in Ontario, Canada to John Junior and Esther Belle (Woodward) Hankins. She is survived by her sister Shirley Thomas and many nieces, nephews and cousins both in her family and those who welcomed her through marriage.

In 1965, Jenni married her high school sweetheart Billy Monday (d February 2025) She worked in bookkeeping and accounting for 60 years, the latest for Kathleen M. Kelly C.P.A. and private clients through her business Jenni’s Accounting Plus, retiring in December 2025.

Her enthusiasm and interests were many and varied. Over the years she enjoyed photography, parachuting, Jiu Jitsu (Brown Belt), astronomy, birdwatching, gardening, cooking, collecting science fiction and Oregon history books, and compiling family genealogies.

Jenni & Bill’s love and support of nephew James A. Thomas IV and niece Debra June Jones and other family and friends will live on. Jenni & Bill shared their home over the years with canine companions: Boxers, an Australian shepherd, and a West Highland White Terrier. Jenni enjoyed sharing Bill’s hobbies and their travels. They are now reunited to begin their next adventure together. Leaving a legacy of love and caring and community.
