Jeanne Irene Pollock, age 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Grants Pass, Oregon. She was born on April 27, 1937, in Emmett, Idaho, to Clifford Mason Francis and Florence Nadine Parrish. Jean grew up in Grandview, Stibnite, Emmett and Mountain Home, Idaho. She graduated from Emmett High School and married Gerald Kenneth Pollock on Feburary 2, 1954. They had three children Sheri Waltman, Joey Pollock, and Jerry Pollock. They lived in a variety of locations including Fairfield CA, Hawaii, Washington D.C. Livermore CA, Elko NV and Cedarville CA. They divorced in May 1968. Jean joined the Boise, ID, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) as a Stenographer/file clerk in 1970, steadily rising through ranks to become the Administrative Officer of the Coos Bay, OR BLM office and retiring in 1997. Jean moved to Grants Pass, OR area in 2001 and remained there until her passing. Jean is survived by her three children, Sheri, Joe, and Jerry: eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and her sister’s: Doris Troutner, Wanda Rivers, Janet Justice, and Carol Borisoff. Graveside services will be at the Emmett, ID, City Cemetery in the Spring of 2026.
