Gregory James "Greg" Bren

Gregory James "Greg" Bren, age 81, of Williams, died September 23, 2026 at his home

Greg was born May 30, 1945, to Wencelslaus Richard Bren and Agnes Alice Bren, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wencel Bren.

Greg worked as an NBC camera and lighting man, a career that reflected his technical abilities and appreciation for working behind the scenes. He enjoyed refurbishing old Zenith radios, and in his younger years, riding motorcycles. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed trips to the coast.

Greg was a private and independent man with a curious mind and a talent for working with technology and mechanical things. Those who knew him will remember his distinctive devilish little snicker that always seemed to come just before his laugh—a small expression that was uniquely Greg.

He will be remembered for his work, his hobbies, his love of the outdoors, and the many memories he left with those who knew him.
