Golda T. Ash

Golda T. Ash, age 87, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Golda was born April 30, 1924 in Graham, Texas to Maston & Emma Thomas. In 1944 she married Robert Ash. In 1961 she moved from Garden Grove, California to Grants Pass, Oregon. Over the years she worked as a cook in many restaurants.

Golda loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards, camping, fishing, and just having a good time.

Survivors include three children, Barbara Baumer, Preston Ash, and Randy Ash; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992; her parents; two brothers; and one sister.

A gathering of family and friends will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the All Sports Park (also known as Reinhart Volunteer Park). Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
