Gene Blackburn

Gene Blackburn, age 88, of Grants Pass, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Gene was born December 18, 1925 in Denver, Colorado. Gene attended Frank Wiggins Trade School in Los Angeles before joining the United States Navy. He retired after 20 years and moved to Grants Pass in 1967 from Oxnard, California. He was married to his wife, Ruth, for 66 years until her passing in 2012. His two sons, a daughter and 8 grandchildren survived Gene. He was always passionate about gardening.
