Fran Lorraine Swann

Frances Lorraine Swann passed away peacefully at age 81 in Grants Pass, Oregon, the afternoon of August 15 2023. Fran was born in Petaluma, California to Max and Kathryn Penrose-Swann.

Fran enjoyed sewing, ceramics, scrapbooking, crocheting, baking, meeting new people and camping. Fran loved to spend time with friends and family. She was proud to be nominated and selected to carry the Olympic Torch for her work with special needs children.

She is survived by siblings; Betty Miller (Missouri) and Kathryn Swann (California). She is preceded by siblings; Marjorie Swann, Lee Swann, Mary Jo Swann, Alice Swann. Fran is survived by her children; Lorrie Schoenborn (Mike), Barbara Shaman, Julie Thompson, and Shane Swann, and Preceded by her daughter Jessica Swann. Survivors also include grandchildren Christopher, Eric, James, Jake, Max and Bella; and great-grandchildren Austin, Ryan, Andrew, and Abby; and numerous dearly loved nieces and nephews.
