Edward Frank Ross III

Edward Frank Ross III, age 89, of Grants Pass, passed away peacefully January 21, 2024 at home following a battle with cancer.

Edward was born July 22, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa to Edward & Erma Ross.  Ed and his brother Jim volunteered for the draft and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he worked in California at Wyle Laboratories as a test engineer.

Ed and Louise later built a life in Oregon, buying property and building a home of their own design.   

Ed loved to hunt and fish, along with camping and many other outdoor activities.  He was very involved with his family, always lending an ear, giving his time and solutions, and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Emma Louise Ross; three children Mike, Mark and Lisa; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father; mother; four brothers; and a sister.

Edward’s cremated remains will be laid to rest privately at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
