Edward Travis Lee

Edward Travis Lee passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, in Grants Pass, Oregon. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps 2nd Battalion, 9thMarines, 1st Division. Born on June 6, 1966, in Inglewood, California. Edward was the son of James and Freda Lee. Following his graduation from Ukiah High School in 1985 he answered the call to serve his country, enlisting in the Marine Corps. He served with honor. Edward served as a machine-gunner and achieved the rank of Corporal during his assignments in Cornwall, England and Okinawa, Japan. Following his honorable discharge in 1989 he attended Fresno State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1995. He worked as a Data Analysist, was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. A quiet and kind man, Edward spent his time restoring cars, sailboats, and airplanes. He was a lifelong believer of the Christian Faith. Edward’s neighbors, friends, and family recall him as someone always willing to help and deeply loyal. Edward leaves behind his brother Raymond Lee, his sister Victoria Lee Buscher, as well as nieces Jennifer, Kristin, Astoria, and Daphne. Grand Nieces and Nephews Anthony, Cali, Alissa, Caitlin, Logan, Archer, Brewer, and John. Edward was preceded in death by his parents. On April 17, 2026, a life celebration with Military Honors took place at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass, Oregon.
