Edith Ella Foreman

Edith Ella Brady Foreman, 95, of Central Point, died January 16, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

A celebration of life will be held at Edgewater Church in Grants Pass on March 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Edith was born March 3, 1930, in Azalea, Oregon, to Victor and Margaret Brady. She attended Glendale High School. She married Harold Joe Foreman on August 15, 1947. Together they raised four children: Vicky McGuire (Mike), Arland Foreman, Denice Kyker (Dick), and Terry Foreman (Michelle).

In 1951, Harold and Edith established Foreman’s Dairy at 4300 Leonard Road in Grants Pass. The family delivered milk door-to-door throughout the valley—including Merlin, Glendale, Wolf Creek, and Sunny Valley—before later supplying local grocery stores.

In 1954, the family began attending Jerome Prairie Church, where Edith joyfully taught Sunday School for many years. On December 26, 1972, she began working for Payless Drug on the stocking crew. She quickly became a supervisor and eventually an assistant manager. Her career with Payless lasted more than 25 years before her retirement.

Edith enjoyed many years with her ten grandchildren: Layne Snyder, Jeff Kyker, Matthew McGuire, Melissa Christensen, Jason Foreman, Jesse Foreman, Elizabeth Foreman, Amber Price, Erica Rae, and Issac Foreman. She celebrated the arrival of fifteen great-grandchildren: Loren, Elijah, Hayden, Brittany, Tanner, Ina, Hayley, Ethan, Bronson, Harper, Kianna, Devyn, Aiden, Weston, and Terrance. Edith also welcomed three great-great-grandchildren: Easton, Paisley, Nohea and Eden.

Edith will be remembered for her deep devotion to her family, her faith, and her community.
