Edwin L Johnson (Eddie), long time resident of Rogue River Oregon passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at RRMC in Medford Oregon.

He was the son of Dee and Thelma Johnson. In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his beloved Wife Jo Johnson, Brother Gary Johnson and his Sister Bev Rushing.

Eddie was a Navy Veteran who dearly loved his family and life long friends, he especially enjoyed fishing, hunting camping, golfing, story telling and his beer.

Eddie will be remembered for the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him. He valued the relationships he built throughout his life, and once you became his friend, you remained his friend for life.

Eddie is survived by: Daughter’s, Denise Stone Byrd (spouse John Byrd) Candace Clair (spouse Matthew Clair) son Mike Johnson (spouse Shelly Johnson) Step son Scott Peebles, daughter in-law Angie Peebles, beloved cousin’s, niece’s, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Celebration of Eddie’s life is Friday August 7th, 3:00pm at Rogue Pub-N-Putt, Rogue River, Oregon.
