Dorothy Dell Loghry
February 8, 1922 — September 29, 2012
Dorothy Dell Loghry, age 90, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 2412 Williams Highway, Grants Pass, Oregon. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Dorothy was born February 8, 1922 in Corning, Iowa. In 1972 she moved from Corning to Grants Pass.
She was a 70-year member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and she enjoyed witnessing door-to-door and studied scriptures.
Dorothy also enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Loghry of Lewis, Iowa; three daughters, Linda Philpott of Grants Pass, Oregon, Debbie Tubbs of Houston, Missouri and Carey Philpott of Rogue River, Oregon; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Loghry and a son, Steve Loghry.
