Donolda Joanne Dunlap

Donolda Joanne Ashbaugh Dunlap, age 86, of Grants Pass, died February 15, 2025 at her home.

Donolda was born May 14, 1938 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Richard & Donolda Ashbaugh. She lived in Days Creek, Oregon and graduated from Days Creek School in 1956 in a class of 12 seniors. On September 1, 1957 at the Methodist church in Gold Hill she married her high school sweetheart Howard Allen Dunlap. She later graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelors degree in Criminology and a minor in Psychology. In 2003 she moved from Bend to Grants Pass.

Donolda was proud to be a United States Navy widow and native Oregonian. She especially enjoyed fishing and crocheting.

Survivors included daughter Lorri Jo Dunlap-McIntosh of Grants Pass; son Howard Earl Dunlap of La Pine; granddaughter Bethanie Joanne McIntosh Jones of Grants Pass and Benjamin Branson of Eugene; seven grandchildren: Garrett Blake Smith, Gabriel George Smith, Lily Joanne Marie Smith, Darick Daniel Jones Jr, Samuel Christian Patrick McIntosh; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her spouse.
