Donna Mae Lorimer

Donna Mae Lorimer, age 70, of Grants Pass, died July 27, 2021 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.

Donna was born May 23, 1951 in Lodi, California to Fred & Esther Horst. She moved from Bridge, Oregon to Grants Pass in 2010. She worked as a school bus driver for school districts in California and Oregon until she medically retired.

Donna was a member of Solid Rock Church of Grants Pass where she was also a custodian and loved doing work for the Lord.

She especially enjoyed gardening and helping others.

Survivors include children Erin Arellanes of Grants Pass; and Jack Purkey Jr (aka Jay Lane) of Hermiston, Oregon; stepchildren Kelly Lorimer Jr, Stephanie Lorimer, and Paul Lorimer; sister Kathy Almeida of Cave Junction; brothers Curtis Horst of Cave Junction and Paul Horst of Lodi, California; four grandchildren Jessie LaBart Bushnell, Josie LaBart, D.J. Arellanes and Cody Arellanes; and three great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Kelly Lorimer and her parents.

A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., August 7, 2021 at Solid Rock Church. Interment was held at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
