Christie Prins

Christie Prins, age 44, of Merlin, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Private interment will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Christie was born September 22, 1965 in Bakersfield, California to Clifford & Sandra Ryan. In 1966 she moved with her family from Bakersfield to Merlin. She attended Manzanita Elementary School, Fleming Middle School and was a 1983 graduate of North Valley High School. She attended Trend College and was a certified travel agent. She later attended trucking school and received her commercial driver’s license and enjoyed traveling the 48 states.

Christie was a member of the Pythian Sisters.

Her hobbies included beading, crocheting, and genealogy.

Survivors include her mother, Sandra Ryan of Merlin, Oregon; a sister, Michelle VerMeer of Grants Pass, Oregon; four nieces; a nephew; and her grandmother, Jean Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Ryan.
