Carol Ann Recher

Carol Ann Recher, age 79, of Merlin, died June 7, 2026 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.

She was born Carol Ann Rainwater on January 10, 1947 in Torrance, California to Carl Wesley Rainwater and Roama Mildred Rainwater. In 1964, Carol graduated from Hart High School in Newhall, California. On October 9, 1993 in Cambria, California she married Rick Recher; and they retired in 2002, and then moved from Lancaster, California to Grants Pass, Oregon.

Carol had two children, Jerry Allen Chatterton, and Vicki Lynn (Chatterton) Kobe; grandchildren, Jordan Elaine Chatterton, Kennedy Ann Chatterton, Madison Chatterton, Alissa Kobe, and Andrew Kobe.

Memberships included the American Cancer Society, and the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

Carol enjoyed scrapbooking, beading, and decorating her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Jerry.
