Bobbie (Bob) Joe Kirkley

Bobbie (Bob) Joe Kirkley, born June 1, 1940, passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on August 24, 2022 with his wife, children, and close friends by his side after several years of varying ailments.

Bob graduated from Rogue River High School in 1958. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy and served on the USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. He served in the Navy and Army Reserves for a combined 28 years. Bob worked 20 years for the Napa Valley Unified School in Napa CA and retired from there in 2001.

Bob his survived by his loving wife of 63 years Beverly “Babe”, his son Shawn (Liz), daughter Dawn (Tim), son Kevin (Carrie), 18 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his four siblings, Mike (Jo), Patty (Bill), Edna, Jim (Carol), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He lived a loving life of dedicated service to his family, country, community, and church. Bob will be laid to rest on November 21, 2022 at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
