Billy Joe Lowe

Billy Joe Lowe, 84, of Grants Pass, died September 10, 2023 at Regency Care Rogue Valley in Grants Pass, Oregon.

He was born March 27, 1939 in Huntington, West Virginia; after high school at age 18 he joined the Air Force.

Billy Joe is preceded in death by his wife Astrid (Bauwens), parents Basil and June (Fox) Lowe; brother Philip Sherman Lowe; and sister Phyllis June Lowe Linger.

Survivors include his daughter June Lowe of Kingman AZ; son Duane E. Lowe of Wadsworth OH; sisters Cindy Kay Lowe Kuhns of Ohio, Janis Marie Lowe Heck of Florida; one grandchild Karolyn F. Garcia Stout of Akron OH; one great grandchild; stepson Sean Chorpenning, Sean’s daughter: Alyssa and John Berry (Step granddaughter), Stepdaughter: Yvonne and Husband Raymond Taitano, Step-grandkids: Olivia, Taylor, and Daniel Taitano.
