Betty G. Williams

Betty G. Williams, age 69, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Family services have been held. Southern Oregon Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.

Betty was born July 8, 1942 in Alhambra, California. In 1978 she moved from California to Grants Pass where she worked at Cave Junction City Hall.

Betty loved to paint, sew and shop for anything and everything.

Survivors include three daughters, Tammy Hampton of Nehalem, Oregon, Brandi Sommers of Jacksonville, Florida and Tina Tedder of Conyers, Georgia; two sisters, Penny Trout of White City, Oregon and Patsy Storgaard of Gold Hill, Oregon; a brother, Richard Hackstock and wife Kathy of Ashland, Oregon; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Williams and her mother, Deon Jenkins.
