"This is our sweet dad, Ansehl. On February 3, 2025, the Lord decided to call him home.
Our dad was a kind man with a gentle spirit. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease people. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, liked him. Even his hospice nurses would fight over who got to be his nurse for the week. His sister called him the mediator of the family.
He was such a grateful and appreciative man. Many times we would go into his home and he would be singing or whistling a tune. Usually, it was a hymn to the Lord. Although our dad didn't have a lot of things, he was very giving and would give the shirt off of his back.
We are thankful for all he taught us. We're blessed that he loved the Lord and we have confidence that we will see him again when we get to heaven. We're also thankful that he is no longer in pain.
We love you dad and will miss hearing your voice."
