Annette Virginia Weber-Smith, passed away peacefully at the age of 56 surrounded by family.
She was born on June 24, 1967, in Denver, Colorado to parents Richard and Connie Weber. Annette grew up in Denver and graduated high school at the age of 16.
In March of 1985 Annette met her future husband Troy Smith, while he was serving in the military in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Annette and Troy married nine months later, on December 26, 1985, in St Joseph, Missouri. In 1994 the family moved to Grants Pass from Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Annette earned a degree in medical imaging and a degree in respiratory therapy. She worked for 22 years as an insurance adjuster and eventually became a partner in the business.
Annette enjoyed yard sales, playing cards with her friends, mom to five dogs, two cats, and 16 horses. She also liked shopping and playing Bingo with the girls.
Survivors include her spouse of 38 years, Troy Scott Smith of Grants Pass; daughters Constance Leah Stricklin of Marysville, Washington, and Natascha Dawn Hill of Grants Pass, son Cameron Scott Smith of Pennsylvania; parents Richard and Connie Weber of Brookings; brother Mike Weber of Canby; one granddaughter; and two grandsons.
Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023, at St Anne Catholic Church with Father Joseph Mujaeropira, officiating. Arrangements with Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
